One of our neighbors who is an animal lover has so many critters in their home. They always show the kids different types of critters, big or small. One day, they brought the kids two walking sticks. They were wee little. They said that they grow so fast that they would be amazed to witness it. We took them and unfortunately, one of them died but the other one grow big. We named him Woody.
We set woody free when he got bigger and can no longer move around the container he was in.

That's a stick insect. It will grow longer than a ruler daw sis. G is into insect and bug books lately that's how I remembered. hehe
I had one of them little guys I have a video on youtube, it shows how the walking stick would disguise himself as a piece of wood. They are really neat!
It's amazing how it really looks like a twig.:)

It does look like a wood. This is the first time I heard of this insect. I had to google learn more about it. Thank you.
