It is very interesting to note that one of the chicken was staying inside. The owner said that that specific hen was being picked on by the other hen so she stayed inside moist of the times.
My kids don't see chicken very often so you can just imagine how their face lit up when the owner of the kennel offered them to see the chicken. When we were leaving, the owner gave each of them a brown egg.

It must be one interesting experience for the children! Love those smiles!
How awesome. I have never seen a chicken up close. How sad that even chickens get picked on.
really, it's great to see that there's "native" chickens around your area, too.
i see rylie's eyes lit up.
sounds like fun!
how cute my son had a pet chicken when he was a baby
It's nice to see children's eyes light up when they have never seen animals up close and person. Seems like you all have a nice day there.
I miss our chickens back home! My little boys had a pet chicken once before we left the Philippines. I'm sure your kids had a really fun time there. Their smiles show it all!
They sure look like they are having fun!
Glad they got a chance to see this first hand

I can imagine how fun it was for the Burritos, sis! Nice experience! Triz got to see chickens at Momi Jessica's place in New York and she had a blast as well! :D
I miss farm life!! I grew up feeding chickens ;) Your kids must have enjoyed it a lot!
we went to a petting zoo one time and my son went crazy over the chickens. lol
Awww what cute pictures of the kids in the farm! I'm sure that was like a fun field trip to them :)
Back in Pampanga were we stayed for 3 years, ang dami kong alagang manok more than 100 na. I can feel the excitement your kids experienced since halos ganoon din ang na-feel ng mga anak ko. I wonder lang if anong breed ang chicken nila since it layed brown eggs. Rhode island red ba?
Awww! Sis Rose, you have beautiful kids. It looks like they have fun with the chickens and rooster. They will love to check out our chickens and our coop too. They well get along too.
Oh they both looked like having so much fun! Well, if they are here in our country, they will see more chickens, hehe!
What a great experience for your kids!
It would be nice to have our own chicken coop that way we can have fresh meat and egg from our own farm.
Makes me smile, reminds me of my own kids who are so fascinated with chickens, they insist on having them as pets when we're home. lol. Cuties!
Indeed, seeing a live chicken is rare for kids nowadays.
I miss having our own chickens and harvest some fresh eggs. It sure is fun raising them. :) Someday we want to raise chickens and turkeys.
The smiles in their faces! It's so easy to tell that they had fun :)
Lovely smile Ms. Burrito. What did you do to that egg?
