When you’re thinking of going away for a weekend or even a week, you need to consider the needs of your pets. You want to make sure that they are not only fed and watered, but well looked after too. How do you know if you can trust someone to take care of your dog? Look at the following signs to be sure!

They are CRB Checked

Anybody who is offering their services as a dog sitter should be CRB checked. You shouldn’t just take their word for it either; you need to double check to be sure that they haven’t done anything in the past that could indicate they are untrustworthy. People who have a clean record are much easier to trust than those without, so make sure you check!

They Have Good Reviews from Others

If they offer this as a service, they should have some past clients they can point you in the direction of. If they have good reviews from others, this is a great sign! However, you need to make sure the reviews are legitimate and not made up to make this person look better. Of course their friend or family member will tell you they are good! Somebody who is impartial should be contacted if you’re dubious about leaving your dog. My Pets And Their Comfort

Having pets is a great experience, especially as we have children. The kids are now at an age where they appreciate having the pets around the house. Not only do they love to play with them, but they also love them outright. Still, from time to time I think they get on their nerves! To be fair, the whole household loves them unconditionally, which is why I like to take care of their comfort.

Exercise will keep them fit and healthy and tire them out for the rest of the day. That way, you get your rest, too.

Playing is an important part of any animal’s life, especially dogs. Remember that most pets are domesticated, but they are still wild at heart. Sometimes, they do things that you have never seen before, and that is their second life coming out to play. Throwing a ball around or letting them rip an old shoe to pieces is incredibly cathartic. Pets, like humans, need a balance between good physical and mental health.

Visit The Vet

Stopping problems at the source is the best way to keep comfortable. Do you not go for a checkup every couple of months? Well, just like humans, pets need a checkup to maintain their health. For me, it is worth the monthly visits because I can be happy in the knowledge that there is nothing wrong. All in all, the animals are happy and so are you.

Animals and pets can be an enigma. One day they are fine, the next they are down in the dumps or don’t look their best. Kennel Cancellation, Vacation Cancellation, and Evanger's Dog Food

Having pet is  great especially if you have kids.  It's a great bonding experience  for the whole family.  There is a however a downside to having pets especially if you like to go places.  We booked our dogs to the kennel in March, we had their shots done, and we were ready to go.  We were supposed to leave   this Saturday for our vacation,  until our schedule got derailed.  The Kennel called and informed us that the owner is having  a bypass surgery so they are closing down for a while.  My heart goes to them and I hope that the owner will have a safe  surgery.  The dilemma we had is finding an available kennel to take our dogs in and by this time,, it is impossible.  I tried calling friends as well and asked if they could  watch the dog for us with pay but to no avail.  I got frustrated, had a migraine trying to find a place toboard our dogs but  we didn't find one near the area so we didn't have a choice but to cancel our reservations.  I think that the kennel should have  a back up plan just in case  emnergency like that happen.  I understand that  they didn't plan it but  they should have at least someone continuing their business.  As a result of their cancellation, we cancelled our planned vacation as well and  it cost us since we have to pay a fee to cancel it, sigh.  

On the lighter note, some of you might have read my post  about my daughter's birthday .  Here are some more photos of her with our dogs, Champ (JRT Black and white) and Bolt (Mixed-breed  miniatue and  doberman pinscher).  

When I told the kids that we have to  cancel our  vacation, they got upset but we explained to them what the cisrcumstances are.  The two of them are the ones fighting to keep the dogs.  I am ready to give  the fur babies  for adoption.  I mean, I love dogs  but it is hindering us from doing things.  

They would rather lose the vacation time than lose the dogs. I don't really mind not going on a vacation but I know that my husband really wants too. We might do something later on but for now, I hope my migraine would vanish and leave me alone, it sucks! I get sever migraine when I am stressed out!

Ball that Champ Love so Much!

If there's onle thing that our Jack Russel Terrierm, Champ., can do all day, it is chewing his ball and playing goalie with us.  This is whhat we always get him for his birthday or during Christmas as he love opening gifts too.  

 When you tossed him the ball, he is happy and content to sit in one corner of the house and chew on his ball.

This is the only kind of  ball that lasts gor a long time with him, the rest of the ones that we tried, he rips them off very quickly.  This is not only good in keeping him busy but it is also good for his teeth.
